People buy bids (for $.30-.35/ea) then place bids on Auctions (in increments of $.01) - or post their own Auctions. Then, when an Auction hits its Reserve Price, the member with the highest Total Bid (first) wins the Auction. That’s pretty much it - with a few twists...
  • Most importantly, bids roll-over ['i'] and are never wasted.
    This is NOT penny Auctions. We’re doing what they should have.

We know a lot of people out there are old enough to remember penny Auctions. This is NOT that. Microbid is 100% Member-owned with 85% of the Revenue going directly back to General Members in the form of heavily discounted Auctions + Rewards. Yeah, we take in way more than the value of the auctioned item, but that’ve because we are self-funded and don’t have VC-level money and marketing. So, we built that expense in - and made it so it goes to our members who do refer, share and help us with that (marketing) part. We also specifically designed Microbid so that not only are your bids never wasted, but they also serve a minimum of at least 3 different beneficial purposes - for you:

1. Every bid placed automatically gets entered to win Instant Rewards/Prizes.
2. Every bid placed on an Auction continues to roll-over into additional rounds (of that Auction).
3. Every bid increases your Bidpower & Loyalty, which helps you earn more and win more.

Basically, we couldn’t seem to get people to work together, collectively to crowd-power and combine their money to do cool things with buying power in a world of constantly rising costs, so we figured if we add an insane Rewards System maybe that would do the trick.

We literally give Instant Rewards (ie. digital gold coins) on every single bid members place. Some rewards are standard (ie. 25 gold coins) - but, some are big.

We use digital gold coins as our standard reward because Microbid is all about real, buying power and in this format Members can do a lot of different purchasing or money-related things with them.

Like using them to outright buy the same items (or services) in the Auctions, using them to Request Cash Advances or enter to win certain items as a Giveaway - or you can simply use them to cash out.
