Microbid.com helps turn almost anything into a viral, digital, crowd-powered Auction where winning Bidders pay just 1% of price (or face value), while Sellers, Brands & Businesses (providing the auctioned item, good or service) always receive 100% of their full asking price - and in many cases even up to 125%.We use a very unique loyalty-driven system to make it all possible and while the "micro" bid (ie. $.001) feature is reminiscent of penny auction sites from the early days of the internet - Microbid is something totally different and 100% legal.
First - the company is 85% Member-owned - with 85% of the revenue going directly back to Members in the form of Auction Discounts (which help us get the prices down to 1%), Loyalty and Rewards.
Secondly, Microbid has been designed so our Members, Brands, Businesses and Services can create and post Auctions - and get paid. Penny Auction sites were all about those owners/founders getting paid.
We built Microbid as a global, digital ecosystem to help people leverage true crowd-power and help them all get paid, increase sales, reach new Customers and get more exposure via viral, crowd-powered Auctions.
Imagine someone with a highly valued, collectible. What’s that worth? Or, someone with a valuable service to offer? Or, even someone with an awesome Idea, like a Travel Trip - who creates an Auction Package around that idea. We think they should be able to mark that up, so they’re compensated for their time putting it all together! Right now, we allow a 25% markup, but we’ll probably raise this to 50% in the future.
Third - We’ve designed features, rules and guidelines specifically so Members don’t waste an abundance of bids.
With Microbid, you do lose bids, but that’s because we treat them as a sort of service fee towards the facilitation of the overall services, which you will learn are vast, comprehensive and hopefully extremely beneficial to our Members.
In addition, the more bids you do place (ie. make), the more Loyalty Stars you earn - and hence the higher your Loyalty Score is, which makes you eligible to earn more Rewards and winnind bids.
And, finally - winning Bidders don’t actually win the item, service, good, idea, package, etc. - they win the 1% offer. And, we’ve created a very fair, easy and rewarding platform to help us make this all possible. Learn more
Fourth - Oh yeah, almost forgot... we don’t have millions in marketing and advertising money, so we made sure to build in one heck of a Referral System - not only can you make literal hundreds to thousands for referring people (tip: you get 10% of face when you refer someone who ends up being a winning Bidder), but we’ve also built in Instant Rewards that you can win/earn at any time - the moment you place a bid and Consolation Prizes (awarded at the end of each Auction).
So, we’ve made a truly rewarding ecosystem that we think will re-define E-Commerce and the Creator Economy - giving way to the brand-new Crowd Auction Economy!
LOYALTY + REWARDS
In addition, members earn Loyalty + Rewards for every bid they place (in the
form of stars), which also determines their "Loyalty Score". And, a higher
Loyalty Score actually increases and improves chances for earning Rewards
and other prizes, including Auction Consolation Prizes - that are awarded
at the conclusion of every successful Auction.
