What is Microbid.com?

- An online platform that helps people, Creators Businesses, Brands and others turn almost anything into a digital, crowd-powered Auction - where winning Bidders pay just 1% of the price - while Sellers, Businesses & Brands always receive 100% of their asking price.

How much does it cost?

- It’s 100% free to post an Auction. And, it costs as little as $0.25-30 to purchase a bid.

Does Microbid offer Loyalty + Rewards?

- Yes! It does. What makes Microbid unique is that the entire platform is centered around Loyalty + Rewards, so every member has a realistic opportunity to truly get something out of their Microbid experience.

What happens if an Auction doesn’t reach its reserve price?

- Nothing. The entire platform is centered around members’s ability to earn Loyalty + Rewards for every bid placed - whether a reserve price is reached or not. In addition, Microbid features something unique called ComboBids (or ComboAuctions), which basically combines all the bids from similarly valued Auctions, thereby causing reserves to be reached faster - and Auctions to be won faster.

What happens if an Auction does reach its goal?

- The system publishes the winner of the winning bid at the top (and side) of the Auction Details page. And moments after that (usually less than 1 minute) the system publishes Consolation Winners also (usually under the main top image/banner section).

How do I get the item, product or service I purchased?

- After the Auction, someone from the Microbid Auction Fulfillment Team will email or call you (if you provided a number on your Edit Account page) to arrange delivery and/or fulfillment or your Auction Item, Product, Goods or Service(s).

Buy Now price vs Face Value price?

- The Buy Now price is not always the same as Face Value because many Sellers offer items, goods and services below or above face depending on their goals and needs, plus circumstances.

For example, a Seller may set their "Buy Now" price lower than the Face Value of their item, good or service because of the exposure and promotional value to them. Or, on the other end of the spectrum - a Seller might set their Buy Now price higher than the Face Value due to high demand for the item, good or service.

Can I protect my Auction idea?

- Not really, but Microbid does have and enforce a very strict policy that the first member who posts a unique Auction idea instantly becomes the "owner" (on that Microbid.com platform) of that idea - as long as there’s no other established Brand, Business or Company with verified rights to said idea or the core, underlying product, good, item or service of said Auction Idea.

Are there any hidden costs?

- Nope! Just what you see.
